At Murphy Brothers Funeral Directors it is our policy to provide a written estimate of costs at the time of making the arrangements in order to make the family aware of the costs of their chosen arrangements. Our charges will be tailored to suit individual needs and budget and each funeral is individually tailored to meet precise requirements. Due to the large number of families entrusting us with the funeral arrangements of their loved ones we are in a position to keep costs to a minimum.
Funeral Costs are generally split into two areas as follows:
The Funeral Directors Costs or “Our Charges” which are made up of Administration, Coffin, Transportation, Embalming, Preparation and Dressing and all of the costs which are within our control.
The Third Party Costs or “Disbursements” which are payments made of your behalf such as Newspaper Notices, Cemetery and Crematoria Charges, Church Fees and Celebrant Fees, etc.
